Q. Where are we registered?

A. We are not registered anywhere. We're old and own a lot of things. Just enjoy a great experience and take in the beauty of Maine! If you'd like to chip in towards the wedding stay, give a special gift, or buy us a pony, that'll be fine too. (Kidding - please do not buy us a pony!)

Q. Is everyone staying the entire time (Oct. 5th - 9th)?

A. No, guest are arriving and departing on different days and times. Please feel free to come and go as it works best for your schedule.

Q. Is there an agenda for the trip?

A. Kind of ; ) but not really. Here is a tentative "schedule", but no one is obligated or expected to adhere to it (other than the ceremony and reception following the ceremony).

Thursday, 10/5 - Pizza Night

  • Check in time is at 3:00 pm EST at the AirBnb.
  • Most of the guest will be arriving this day, at various times. To simplify everything, we'll simply be ordering pizza and drinking beer, because we're very classy like that ; )
    • If you prefer to order food to prepare and snack on throughout the stay, the kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate any type of meal prep / cooking you'd like to do.
    • Personal Groceries can be ordered from Instacart (we assume), or here are some nearby grocery stores:
      • Hannaford, (Recommended) 109 Portland Rd, Bridgton, ME 04009 (11 minutes away)
      • Food City295 Main St, Bridgton, ME 04009 (10 minutes away)
      • Whole Foods: Nearest one is in Portland (THIS IS FOR YOU MOM)2 Somerset St, Portland, ME 04101

Friday, 10/6 - Potluck Night: Sign up for a Dish here (OPTIONAL)

  • We strongly encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and take advantage of this trip as a little vacation. If this means you'd like to simply lounge around the AirBnb (even if you're not staying on site) or go on a mini road trip adventure, we support you! The AirBnB has a hot tub, kayaks, pool tables, card tables, etc, so if you'd like to simply soak up some R&R, there's plenty to do.
    • For dinner, we welcome anyone who'd like to participate, to join us for a potluck from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. You are NOT required to make a dish to enjoy the festivities, but if you'd like to bond over a cooktop with us, you can register to bring or make drinks, an appetizer, an entree, a side dish, or a dessert here: https://app.potluck.us/event/5971

Saturday, 10/7 - THE BIG BEST DAY EVER!!!! <3

  • The service, weather permitting and fingers very crossed, will be outdoors and waterfront, with a reception to follow. In the event of inclement weather, we will execute Plan A - Tent or Plan B - Move the event inside the house (this is why we rented such a big place : )
    • 3:00 PM: Wedding Ceremony - Attire is semi-formal. As a reminder, high heels and Maine soil don't play nice together. Thick heels or flats are recommended.
    • 4:00 PM: Cocktail & Appetizer Hour / Photos - During this time, we will have a self-serve appetizer and cocktail table available while the remaining party takes pictures.
    • 5:00 PM: Reception - Following the ceremony and cocktail hour, we are inviting all guest to celebrate with us. Menu details below. We will also have a DJ on site and welcome you to put on your dancing shoes! The reception will end whenever it ends...

Sunday, 10/8 - TBD - Some Folks will Be Traveling & for Those That Remain...

  • TBD - we are tentatively planning a BBQ for the late afternoon around 4:00 OR we may simply head into town for dinner.  If you prefer to use this day for adventures, please feel free to do so.

Monday, 10/9 - Time to Go!

  • Check out is at 10:00 am EST. A large group of us, including the Bride (if you weren't aware until this moment, there's a rumor she's a "workaholic") will be headed to airport. The remainder of guests not flying out that day will be in a caravan headed back to Boston, including the Groom.
